~OoC~~Respect! This is a pretty simple rule, but one that should always be stated. Respecting your fellow players is what makes role play more enjoyable, and I do not want my forum to become a hostile place for people. So respect everyone! No matter what your beliefs may be. If you cannot deal with that then maybe this place is not for you. ~Read Everything! If you don't then you can't blame me if you break a rule or over look something important. I put everything up for a reason, so read it. ~PG-13. I want all content within this forum to be PG-13. If you cannot stay within that rating, I will kick you out and not give any warnings beyond this one everyone is getting if they read my rules. If you have any questions about what PG-13 details, look here. ~Separate the lives. In other words, keep all your real life drama there and your role play drama in role play. I am not saying that you can't talk about what is going on in your life, just don't let it leak into the role play and visa versa. If you let this happen, it may ruin the vibe of the thread and ruin the muse of whoever is posting with you. ~Be Active! Don't just log on (though that does help), but also post in RP (if you can) or at least chat in the cbox because that is why its there. ~!Advertising! Big thing is, you should post your adverts in the board designated just for advertising. If you PM a member with an advert and I find out, you will be banned. If you post an advert in the CBox, you will be banned. Lets just say, if you post an advert anywhere then the right area, you will be banned for this is your only warning. ~Role Play~~Modding is EVIL! And most of us know it. Modding can be anything from not letting your character die or get injured during a battle to controlling what another character does. Treat everything you do to another character as if it was an attack. Which means do not assume it will happen just because you want it to. Unless you ask, you shouldn't assume anything. ~Rumors. Remember that rumors can be spread about anyone and are not always true. So, use your imagination and come up with some interesting rumors rather than just posting the truth you found in a role play thread. ~Death & Life. Some characters may die, but all deaths must be confirmed with me and the player who's character will be killed. Once that character is dead, I will not allow them to come back, so do this with care. Also, if you want your character to get pregnant, talk to me too! I want pregnancies to be realistic, which means they will have to suffer through the nine or so months of baring the child before they can pop it out (unless it is miscarried). ~Application~~Unfinished Bios. If you have an unfinished bio, please put WIP in the title or some indication that it is not done yet. Failure to do so may result in me not looking at it when you actually do have it done. Also, don't be afraid to respond to your bio saying that it is done. ~Character Limit. For the time being, I want people to have one or two characters, at max. Anything more MUST be confirmed through me before you make the new account for the third character. Also, second characters may be denied if the player cannot keep up with the first, so you should make the first one count. ~Use Real People! I don't care if you do not have their name, I just want to see real faces here rather than some anime stuff. So, go wild with real play bys! ~No Mary Sues. This is not a Harry Potter sight or something of the sort, so do not resort in making Harry or some other canon that is not welcomed here. Also, this covers using the name of the play by (or one of the people they played) for the name of the character you are making. ~Age Limit! I will accept characters at the age of 14 or older; any character younger will not be accepted. ~Last Piece of Information: I have the right to add more rules and when I do that, you must read the new information. Also, in your bio, you should put something clever at the bottom. Hm, what was that clever phrase...maybe I left it in the plot? I don't remember...hm. Either way, once the pass phrase has been approved by a staff member, even if your application is still a WIP, you do not have to worry about it at all anymore! Yay!
