The MacKenzie FamilyVampires, werewolves and zombies, oh dear. These are the threats worthy of books, movies, and video games, but what if they were real? Our little minds would threat over every little detail if we had the knowledge of such disasters waiting around the corner. Some may even go out of their way to find them. Luckily for you, these threats are only in fairy tales, but darker threats still roam the streets of New York City. The MacKenzie family is that threat and most see them as the perfect family to live up to. Heck, many would join this family just so they can be apart of one of the richest families in NYC. But, joining this family comes at a price as they all are under the impression they are more than human. Instead, they are hunters of the night that feast upon the blood and flesh of mortals in order to survive. Yes, this family believe they are vampires and even though they suffer the same fate as every mortal, their belief still lives strong.
These ideals hold strong with their rituals that they do in order to 'live forever'. You see, they look at their mortal bodies as shells for their immortal soul and their dead family are reborn within the young. Because of the process of being reborn, the family are completely aware that the babe may not remember everything, but they have seen first hand that some of their children hold characteristics of past MacKenzies while some are new blood. Either way, they always feed the new borns the blood of the past MacKenzies, their blood being kept in a fridge in the basement in order to feed this ritual. So, when a MacKenzie dies, their body is drained of all its blood and stored away with the others while the mortal shell is burned and their ashes spread upon the MacKenzie grounds.
This is how it has been in the family for thousands of years and will continue until someone decides to stop this evil, and the MacKenzie family is welcoming the Greene family into their ranks. Some of the MacKenzies fear that the Greene's may bring about the end of the family, but the youth of the family have their own troubles to worry about as they try and live normal lives outside of the house, but also trying to adhere to the family values. With these strings dangling overhead, it is only time before someone gives them a tug and reveals the skeletons in the MacKenzie closet. Oh! I remember! That clever phrase is: "Sharky's hungry."
